It's Christmas!!!

The boys woke up about 6:45 Christmas morning and were just itching to see if Santa stopped at our house. We tortured them for just a little bit and then finally let them go out and check. They were all so excited to see what Santa brought. Here are a few pictures of their exciting morning.

I was suprised but they all three grabbed their stockings first.

Grayson dove right into the chocolate santa.
So did Asher.

Eston was nice enough to let Timber help him open his presents. It is kind of crazy but she absolutely loves to open presents.

Asher opened a new wagon and noticed Grayson got a tractor and off the couch he dove to get his next present.

Asher opening a few more presents from his stocking. He is definately the child who takes his time, it was so cute.

Daddy with his new hat that Eston bought just for him. Eston got to go shopping for the entire family, at the Santa shop at school. He was so excited for us to get our presents. He also got me and his brothers teddy bears.

After we opened our gifts we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's house to spend Christmas day. Uncle Gerry, Uncle Jim and Danny brought a special gift just for Eston. I think this was his very favorite gift this year - a box full of deer antlers.

Here he is opening the box.

Cherri and Grayson haning out by the fire place.

The boys helping Uncle Gerry open his christmas present. I tell you what, these kids just love Uncle Gerry!

Looking up to Uncle Gerry - the man with the Red Tractor!

Sisters having a little Christmas Cheer!

Asher helping Uncle Jim open his gifts. He opened this t-shirt and said "this is gonna be mine!" Jim also got a door mat and Asher said "oh that is a really nice rug!"

Grandpa on his tractor plowing the driveway. We got a lot of ice and snow on Christmas day. I think grandpa had some fun plowing!!

Grandpa can't go outside with out the boys right on his heels. They had to go out and help shovel the driveway. Here is Grayson hard at work.

Eston checking to make sure his brothers are doing it right.
Asher having a little fun in the snow! The snow was so deep it was up over his knees, but he was able to get around.
After playing in the snow, the kids were pretty pooped. Here is Eston cuddling with Sammy.

This is one of my favorite pictures - I could look at those eyes all day!
One more funny or not so funny thing that happened Christmas day. You know, it just wouldn't be a normal day with out some type of incident where my kids are involved. So around mid-day I took Grayson potty and the toilet started to over flow, Grandma helped me and we cleaned it up fast. Then again that same evening, I took Asher potty and it overflowed again - only worse. We shut the water off and cleaned it up, but the water went down the vent and damaged a few ceiling tiles in the basement. Grandpa and Dad used a snake to see if they could fix the toilet. Come to find out, Grayson (who confessed) dumped an entire container of Q-tips down the toilet and they were lodged in the pipes. They were able to clear the clog and the toilet is now working fine. But don't worry, MY RING IS ON MY FINGER! :)
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve day was pretty uneventful. We started out the day getting things ready for Santa's arrival. We took a break for lunch and of course the boys wanted mac and cheese with hotdogs. I had to take pictures of their lunch because the twins got a hold of the christmas cookie sprinkles and thought it would be a good idea to put some on their mac and cheese.

Here is Asher's - not too bad.......

Here is Grayson's. He dumped an entire 1/2 bottle of red sprinkles - YUK

Tim and the boys after we got home from church. Asher and Grayson were so tired. Asher slept through the entire church service.

Asher cuddling with Daddy.

We opened presents from mom and dad and then watched a christmas movie while we ate supper. We wanted to order pizza but everything was closed, so we just made our own. Definately was not a health meal but it was a special night. The boys are sporting their new tiger basketball jammies.
Now off to bed so Santa can, hopefully, make a quick stop.

My 1st Blanket

I have been practicing my crochet skills and decided to attempt my first blanket. I decided that I would give the blanket to Beth for Christmas. It is definately not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty good for my first one!

Christmas Program

This past Sunday was the Christmas Program at church. Eston did such a great job, we are so proud of him. All the kids did a great job - the program was a huge success! Here are a couple pictures from the program.

The boys all dressed and ready for church.

Eston actually smiled for the camera - there is a first for everything.

Look at that form. He did such a gread job, honestly could not have been more proud!

Eston and Izzy during the program.

Ferrie Christmas

On Saturday we headed down to Cresco for the Ferrie Family Christmas. We had a great time and the kids had so much fun playing together. We are starting to get to that point where we can just let the kids go off and play together without having to watch them every second - it was so nice! It was so great to see everyone - Merry Christmas.

Grayson and Asher patiently waiting to open their presents from Great Grandma.

Eston with his gift. Duck Hunter. He was so excited and hasn't put the thing down since he got it.

Grayson with his John Deere. Asher got one too but wouldn't stop for a picture.

Marti and Ava. She is such a sweetheart, I wanted to bring her home with me.

Brittain - what a doll. She is the same age as Eston and the twins absolutely love her!
In the words of Asher "it as a fun day."

Baking, Snow and Crafts at Grandma and Grandpa's

Last weekend we went out to Grandma and Grandpa's to make some Christmas goodies. While there we ended up doing lots of different things and it was a super fun day!

We started out by making Christmas cookies. Here they are helping Auntie Lauri do the cut outs.

Lauri showed them how to "Flour" up their faces for the pictures. Thanks Lauri!
