Suprising Commute to Work.......

I left for work around 5:45 this morning and as I started to drive down our street something darted out into the street...........A DEER! What, a deer, I know, that is the same thing I thought. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting it. It ran across the street and between the houses. I felt so sorry for it because I am sure it was scared and just wanted to find some woods! I sat there for a few minutes wondering to myself if I really did just see that. Never thought I would have to stop for a deer on our street.

Fun Fun a Fun Filled Weekend in the Sun!

This weekend was full of fun, sun and more fun! On Saturday morning I loaded up the kids and we headed in to Rochester to pick up Heather, Hunter and Fischer and then we were off to Como Zoo. Tim was working on tiling the bathroom, so I thought I should get the kids out of the house and there is nothing more fun than the zoo!

Our picnic lunch. I have to say, they did a great job sitting and eating! Most of you know that my kids don't sit for very long, but they all sat and ate MOST of their lunch.

Eston, Hunter and Fischer walking down the path. We tried to get a picture of all of them walking down the path, but SHOCK the twins would not cooperate.

Hunter, Eston, Grayson, Fischer and Asher. This would be perfect but Asher's eyes are closed.

I had to take this shot because Asher, Grayson and Fischer look like triplets from behind.

This is a flower at the entrance. After I got home I realized that there is a small dragon fly on it. You have to look close, but it is at the top of the flower.

The boys looking at the water below.

Then on Saturday, we headed out to mom and dad's to let the kids run off some energy. While dad finished up the tile we played in the water and prepared lunch. Dad was there by lunch time and you will see that we had a day filled with fun activities.

I absolutely love this shot. Grayson is obsessed with riding the horses and he really does a great job. Here he is riding Lucky with Grandma and Grandpa spotting just in case.

Here he is getting some direction from Grandpa.

We also played in the sprinkler for a while. Here is Asher having a great time!

While Asher and Eston were playing in the sprinkler, Grayson was making his own sprinkler, in the fire pit! Gotta love it!

Eston running from the sprinkler.

Asher sitting on the sprinkler.

On Sunday we headed d9wn to Cherri and Jerry's to celebrate Memorial Day.....and get another tractor ride!! The boys had a great time riding in the tractor. Eston spent most of the day holding the baby kitties that Becky found in the ditch. They are so tiny and cute. He really did a great job with them. I didn't get a picture of him with the kitties so I guess we will have to go down again sometime soon!

It is hard to see but this is a back shot of Grayson riding with Danny in the tractor.

Graduation Day

Last Wednesday was Eston's preschool graduation. It was such a fun day. The kids performed a few of their favorite songs and then they put on their graduation hats and marched in to get their diplomas. He did such a good job - it is hard to believe he is old enough to graduate from preschool. Anyway I am a little disappointed because I accidentally deleted all my pictures from his graduation. Thankfully Jacie took a few so I will post those.

Eston in his graduation hat. He had just received his diploma.

Eston with his teachers, Miss Nancy and Miss Moen.

Singing "5 Little Monkeys swinging in the tree" Fitting that he is a monkey isn't it :)

A Busy Week....

I feel like a chicken with its head cut off. This past week has been so busy. I promise to update my blog real soon. I need to upload some pictures from our fun filled weekend. Please stay tuned.

Happy 5th Birthday!

Saturday was Eston's 5th Birthday. I honestly can't believe he is already 5 years old. We decided to have his birthday party at the Ramada Apache swimming pool. I over heard him in the van with his brothers when we got home "didn't I have a great birthday party." We will definately be going back there again. The kids all had an absolute blast!!! Here are some of my favorite pics of the day. There are not that many of Eston because every time I tried to get his picture he would run the other way or turn his back - little stinker!

He decided he wanted brownies, without frosting, because "seriously mom, they are better that way." He cracks me up! We only got him out of the pool for a quick picture (as you can see Adam and Jason are holding him in place) he tried to get me to tak his picture, holding the brownies while standing in the water - good try! We never did get to blow out candles or sing happy birthday. He did take a few minutes to open presents, but it was all business!
Going down the water slide.

Eston and Hunter going down the slide together. I don't know how many times we told them to wait but they continued to go down together.

I love this shot!

This is a shot of Eston on the water slide. Barb, thanks for capturing this awesome expression.

I was able to get a lot more shots of the twins in the pool, they do cooperate a little better. Here is Adam showing Grayson how to shoot hoops backwards.

Jason and Asher going down the water slide.

Grayson and Adam having some fun in the pool.

The boys! My kids really do have the best uncles in the entire world! Thank you both for making this day that much more fun for the kids! We love you!

Eston - actually posing for a shot.

Asher had a great time laying in the water and screaming at the top of his lungs - he loves to listen to himself scream - especially when under water.

Asher posing for me.

I love this shot of Grayson - Thanks, Barb.

Asher having fun in the water - Thanks for this one too, Barb.
Thanks again to everyone who came to the party, it was great to see everyone, hang out and just have a good time. We love you all!

Mother's Day

We spent the day out at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so beautiful! The kids rode their bikes most of the day and then we ventured into the woods to plant some pumpkins and melons. It was absolutely gorgeous down there. There were bluebells covering the ground as far as you could see. Here are some pics I took while we were down there.

A forest covered in blue bells

Jacie took this picture of me and Tim.

I love this picture of mom and dad - it turned out so awesome! Thank you for living in such a beautful place.

Dad being goofy.......but don't you just love it!

I love these two pictures of Sammy in the bluebells.

I also love this shot of Timber in the blue bells. They are such pretty flowers!

Blue Bells

More blue bells

Grandpa giving Asher and Grayson a ride on the little tractor. Asher loved sitting in the wagon and Grayson had to be up front to see what was going on.

Eston had his last day of Sunday school and they had to sing at both services. He did a great job!
Eston in the stripe shirt.

Eston in the front row next to Violet (blue dress)
Here he is next to Violet. I love this shot because Eston and Brody (on the other side of Violet) were fighting with each other all the way down the isle over who got to stand next to Violet. She is a cutie but who would have thought that at 5 yrs old they would already be fighting over girls!
