Fashions of the future?

So check out these future fashionistas! Do you think this trend will catch on? I added quite a few pics because I couldn't decide which ones to leave out. The sadest part of my day......I think these guys walk better in my shoes than I do.

Our week full of SUCCESS and some FUN

Today we are babysitting Brecken. Right now all 3 kids are napping so I thought I would take a few minutes to update the blog. We had a lot of fun this week. The most exciting thing is that we had 2 whole days where all 3 boys had NO ACCIDENTS!!!!! I wanted to blog about it sooner, but did not want to jinx it. Keep your figures crossed that they have continued success. I have attached a bunch of random pics from this week.
Here is a fun series of Brecken and an oreo.

Yippee, I get a cookie!
How do you get these darn things apart? Focus.
Here is his reaction when he got it open. Not the reaction I was expecting!
He ate it anyway! But, he only ate the side without frosting. My kids only eat the frosting. HUH

Asher wanted to make sure he was well hydrated after his cookie mission.

Eston got to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. Last night Grayson and Asher wanted to play outside. We let them hang out in the garage where it was a little bit warmer.

I had to laugh at Asher because he had Tim's hat on with Eston's bike helmet. He could barely see because the hat kept coming down over his eyes. He was so darn cute.

Grayson was on Eston's bike forever, he was so cute. He just needs to figure out how the peddles work. He keeps braking, but he is getting there.

Auntie Lauri babysat the twins on Thursday for us. Snacktime under the kitchen table - their new hideout!

Asher and Grayson could not take turns so they both helped me cook the noodles. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the 2 of them in their undies cooking supper.

On Sunday afternoon we had to go for a bike ride all the way to Uncle Jason's house so Eston could see where the mice had wrecked the grass. YES IT WAS A COLD RIDE! I told him it was too cold and we should drive, but he told me that he would hold my hand and we could take a break if we got tired. I had to go after that, it was so cute. We were both pretty cold when we got home though. Oh, and if you ever want a motivated little man to catch a mouse for you, give Eston a call!

Eston did so good going potty today that he was able to take a bubble bath all by himself. As you can see he had a blast! I had to take a picture so he could see what he looked like. I guess the little mirrow did not cut it.

Monday night with Grandma

Grandma called last night and asked if Eston could go with her to Iron Wood Springs. They were having a pancake supper and horse sleigh rides for a fundraiser. They had a blast. It is always fun to have 1 on 1 time with Grandma.
Eston and Grandma ready to go to Iron Wood.
Oh mom, stop taking my picture. He changed his clothes about 5 times. He wanted to make sure he looked like a cowboy because he was going to "cowboy camp." It was so cute. Check out the fantsy cowboy boots!

Here he is showing us how he would ride the horses.

Another ER Visit

On Sunday, Eston and I went to church while Tim and the twins stayed home. Then we had a fun day of playing, coloring, laundry, etc. Around 4:30 the kids were coloring and cutting out pictures and Asher got a papercut on his eye, right in the center of his cornia. OUCH!!!! I took him to the ER and there were actually 2 cuts on his eye, one in the center and one off to the side. He seemed to be fine, if it were me I would still be crying. THey gave us some ointment (like vaseline) to put in his eye 4 times per day. We went back to day for a check up and it is actually all healed already. They wanted to double check to make sure it was healing without scar tissue since it is in his line of sight. They said the eye heals quickly, I guess they were right.

Some Success & Valentines Day

Well we started putting Eston in "solitary" when he has accidents. If he has an accident he has to sit in a chair with nothing to do or watch until he either goes to the bathroom or we tell him he can get out. So far, it has been working. He did not have any accidents on Sunday and only 2 small accidents yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed.

On Valentines day Beth came over to watch the boys so Tim and I could get out for a while. The boys were so happy to see her and they all had a great time! Tim and I had a great day as well. First we went to Burlington Coat Factory, then Ikea and then to Don Pablos for supper. We had a whole 8 hours to ourselves and it was so much fun! Thank you so much Beth.

Major Frustration!

Any suggestions for getting a 4 1/2 year old to go to the bathroom on the toilet rather than his pants? We have tried absolutely everything under the sun and nothing is working, we don't know what else to do.

Weekend Fun

We had a great weekend with the kids. On Saturday, I took the kids to Grandma and Granpa's to play in the snow and ride the horses. Eston had a blast sledding with Grandpa down the hills. They were out there for a long time and were both wiped by the time they came in. For Eston, there is nothing in the world more fun than spending one on one time with Grandpa! The twins played in the snow and each got a chance to ride on Koda. Grayson did great and had a huge smile on his face the entire time. Asher had a blast! He was talking so fast it sounded like he was speaking German. When Koda would start to go he would say "Hode On Hossey." It was so dang cute! I tried to take pictures, but of course my batteries died after about 2 snaps. GRRRR
While we were playing, dad was putting in new doors at the house. He was able to put in 2 new garage doors and he did a great job! The doors look so much better than the old paint chipped, wood splintering doors we used to have. Once dad was done, he met us out at Grandma and Grandpa's for supper. We had homeade pizza and some delicious bars that grandma made. I need to get that recipe!
On Sunday, our lovely children woke up at 6:00, yep 6:00! So we got up, had breakfast and went to church. Then we ran some erands and had lunch at Sam's Club. When we got home the twins took nice long naps, Eston and I watched Planet Earth and then he also fell asleep. The house was quiet for a good hour and a half. NICE!!! It was a great day, the kids were good and it was beautiful outside!
Yesterday was an exhausting day for me. I had to get the windshield replaced in the aztek, so I hauled the twins into town. We get to the glass shop (so I thought), I got the boys out, we went inside and there was a dog there. Soooo, they thought they would make themselves at home, took off their coats and hats and started to pay. Once the receptionist got off the phone, I told her I was there for my 10:30 appointment to get my windshield replaced and she said, this is 1st Class plumbing. GRRR I was at the wrong place. So, I loaded them back up and drove to the right place. Unloaded them, moved the carseats into the van they borrowed me, loaded them back up and went to Walmart - to kill some time. I couldn't pick up the car for 2 1/2 hours. We walked around Walmart and picked up a few things and when we got back to the car, it had only been 30 minutes. UGH I then picked up some popcorn chicken at Arbys and took them to Silver Lake to see the Geese. We sat there and ate our lunch and watched other people feed the ducks. We didn't get out because it was drizzling and so dirty with everything melting.
Then simultaneously they both said "POTTY," so we headed for Grandma and Grandpa's office. Asher was able to make it but Grayson couldn't hold it long enough. I got him changed and we played in the office for a bit and then headed back to the glass place. Unfortunaltey they were not done yet, so I got back in the car and drove them around for another 20 minutes. Needless to say all the back and forth and in and out made for an exhausting Monday morning! I do have to say, they were very good boys and very patient!

Potty Success.......

I just had to take a minute to let everyone know that we have achieved partial potty success in our house! Asher has not had an accident for over 3 days - Yipee! Grayson has been 2 days! Hoorah! Eston is still working hard and only had 2 yesterday. For those of you who don't know, Eston has really been struggling with this. We are trying very hard to keep him motivated to go on the potty chair. It has been very hard, but we are slowly getting there - I HOPE! If anyone has a miracle solution PLEASE let me know! We have tried so many different things. I will keep you posted! Have a great weekend!

Superbowl,exciting.....time with Grandparents, Priceless!

Superbowl Sunday. Grandma and Grandpa Ferrie, Grandma Paulson, Uncle Rob and Brecken all came over to play and watch the game. As you can imagine, there wasn't a whole lot of game watching with all the little animals running around the house, but we all had a great time. Here are a few pictures from our "party."

Asher giving Grandma a kiss on the cheek.

Grayson and Asher taking a break from the game to see what kind of trouble they could get into. Let me tell you, they are very good at finding things to do that mom and dad won't like!
Here they are stacking up the pop bottles to see if they can climb from the chair and stand on them. Sounds like a good idea, doesn't it.

Saturday fun with cousins....

On Saturday we babysat Brecken and decided to take the kids to Pip Squeaks. It was a lot of fun and it wore the kids out-bonus!
Here is a shot of Asher, Brecken and Grayson all ready to go!
Eston and Brecken are holding hands in the car on the way-So Sweet!
Hunter and Fischer met us there, Eston was so excited. Eston and Hunter have so much fun together, it was nice for them to spend some time just running and playing!

Here is Hunter going down the slide.

Fischer is at the top of the jungle gym. What a cutie.

This shot turned out kind of weird, but kind of cool too. Eston is jumping out of a tunnel.

Asher peeking his head out. He LOOKS so innocent - psych!

Brecken is stuck in the little boat..he is so darn cute. He was such a good boy.
