Kindergarten Concert/Open House

February 25th was the Kindergarten Open House and concert. It was a big night for these little kiddos and they did a fabulous job. We could not have been more proud! Here are a bunch of pics of our fun night.

Eston and Grandma. You can tell that he was really excited for me to take pictures tonight.

Asher Grandpa and Eston in the cafeteria.
Mrs. Smoley and Eston in the music room. Mrs. Smoley did a great job with the kids, the did a wonderful job sining all the songs they have learned. Thank you Mrs. Smoley!

Mrs. Fryer and Eston in his classroom. Mrs. Fryer is the BEST teacher, thanks for all you do!

Now starts the series of some of Eston's art work. This is a picture from his journal, it is a picture of Beth's House and Hugo the snowman that is in the front yard. Love it!

Here is another one, this is of Cherri's house. He loves art!

Eston's quilt square.

The final project. VERY COOL!

Asher and Grayson loved the kid sized bathroom and the motion sensored sink! I had to laugh because when they went in to go potty I could hear them talking and couldn't figure out what was so exciting...............I peeked in and they were going potty in the kid sized urinals - CUTE

Gerry, Asher and Becky!

Gerry, Asher and Cherri. Asher was the only one who wanted to pose for pictures.

Becky and Grayson.

Eston's train car. The entire gym was lined with these train cars and each class had a different color. Mrs. Fryer's class was yellow. Each student had their own car and they had to write what they wanted to be when they grow up. We were very suprised when we read Eston's. In the car on the way to Pizza Ranch he told us that he isn't really going to be an army man, he is going to be a snowboarder.

Grayson, Asher and Eston enjoying supper at Pizza Ranch.

OOOOOh Yummy!

The whole gang at pizza ranch. Thank you all so much for supporting Eston tonight, it means more than you will ever know.

Lauri and Brecken at Pizza Ranch. Brecken is so sweet and took very good care of his mommy tonight!

Cherri Eston and Gerry enjoying some delicious pizza ranch food.
It was such a fun night and it was so great to have EVERYONE there with us. I did notice while posting this blog that I was so busy taking pictures that I forgot to take a picture of Me and Tim with Eston. Oh well!

Show me the Money!

This is a random picture. The boys were playing the other day and Eston hollered out and asked me to come take a picture - rare because he says I take too many pictures. Anyway, this is what they were doing - they wanted me to take a picture of them with their piggy banks.

Eston, Grayson, Asher.

Another Fun Weekend in Iowa!

Last weekend we headed down to Iowa to visit Cherri and Gerry. Gerry was nice enough to have the snowmobile all ready to go. The twins had a blast riding on the snowmobile and Eston spent most of the day sledding and snowboarding. It was an absolutely perfect day and we spent 4-5 hours playing outside. SUPER FUN!

Grayson and Gerry giving Cherri and Asher a snowmobile ride.

Eston on top of a huge snowhill in the yard. We didn't go down this one much because it was very steep and the twins could barely make it up.

A few more cuties

I was lucky enough to make hats for these cuties.

Lydia and Ava. Lydia was born in January and by the time I got the hat to her it was already a little small. I will have to make her a new one. Ava is the same age as the twins, she is a beauty!

This is Isaiah, isn't he sweet. He was just born in February. He is Violet's baby brother.

This is Marissa. She is the precious daughter of one of my past co-workers. Doesn't she have the prettiest eyes you have ever seen?
Thank you all for sending me pictures of the kids in their hats!

Remi's Hat

I finally finished Remi's hat. Here is a picture of her wearing it - isn't she the cutest! Remi's mom is Grayson's daycare lady. He loves it there!

Here is Grayson, Gavin and Remi. Gavin (2) and Remi (3 1/2) are brother and sister. This shot just amazes me because Grayson is actually a couple months younger than Remi. She is such a little peanut.

Kindergarten fun

On Monday I ventured to Bonner to help out in Eston's kindergarten class. It was a lot of fun spending time with all the kids. Here are a few shots from my fieldtrip.

Here is my station in the hall. My job was to paint the kids hands and then have them make their handprints on the paper. I am not sure what the final project will look like but I am sure it will be cool.

All the hands lined up in the hallway

After our project was done I stayed and had lunch with Eston. That is always a fun experience. It is amazing to me how much food gets thrown away! Then again, it is a school lunch.

Eston and Riley, he was quite the chatterbox.

My new hobby.....

So, I am sure you have seen the previous posts of the blankets I have crocheted (sp?). Here is my new favorite thing to make.....
HATS - boys girls baby adult you name it. I love making these. Here are the two that I made for the neighbors. Asher modeled it for me.
The other side.
Here is Domonique with her new hat. I had to give this one to her as her favorite color is yellow.
If you would like to order one, please let me know. You can pick your own colors and they are very reasonable!

2nd Half of January 2010

So the second half of January has been just as fun as the first half. Here are some pictures to prove it - these are actually all from this past week.
On Monday, we went to House of Bounce with Lauri and Brecken. The boys had so much fun and it really wore them out!

This is Grayson's black eye. He fell and hit his head on the corner of Asher's bed. I think his brother's helped him out a bit.

This past weekend we went out to mom and dad's and all the boys went out sledding. The snow was perfect! Here is Tim sledding down the hill - Him and dad really hummed down the hill.

Here he is walking back up.

I love this one. Grandpa and Asher walking back up the hill.

Grandpa heading down the hill. For those of you that have been out there, he went all the way down, around the shed and made it all the way to the burn pile.

Eston wiping out on his snow board. We were very impressed because he made it all the way down the hill more than once. He watched Shaun White on TV the day before and was very motivated to go out and try it again.

Here he goes.

Grayson heading down the hill. He did such a good job and had a ton of fun!

I think this picture says it all - Asher was loving every minute.
Thanks for a super fun day!!
