June has been a wonderful and VERY busy month for the Paulsons.  The boys started t-ball and baseball, which consumes every Monday and Tuesday night.  They have also started taking horseback riding lessons, swimming lessons, basketball camp and that is just to name a few of the things we have going on.
Grandma's beautiful roses.  This used to be my Great Grandma's rose bush and it continues to bloom every year with these beautiful roses.
On June 14th, mom called to tell me that a bald eagle had landed in the tree right behind their house.  An hour later Eston called to ask her about it and it was still there....so we had to drive out to see it.  When we got there it was still in the tree and was on one of the lowest branches.  We were able to walk right up to it and it just sat there.  It finally did fly away but we were able to watch it for a good 15-20 minutes.
This is how close we were to it - Eston was standing right underneath it.  It was so cool
What a beautiful bird!  It is fun because we know a lot about the bald eagle, thanks to Eston's 2nd grade zoo project.
We also had Asher and Grayson's preschool graduations this month.  Here is Asher with Mrs. Nancy and Mrs. Moen at his graduation ceremony.
Here is Asher's preschool class.  There were 19 girls and 6 boys - Asher loved those odds.
We are so proud of you buddy!!  Can't believe you will be starting kindergarten this fall!
Grandma came to his graduation ceremony and he was so excited.  Thanks Grandma.
Asher and his buddies, Charlie and Jayce.
Grayson had his graduation the following Monday.  Here is Grayson with Mr. Paul
This is Grayson's class. Not all of these kiddos will be goigng to kindergarten but they were all recognized and participated in the program.
Mrs. Becky, Mr. David and Mr. Paul. Thanks for everything!!!
June 2nd we had Nicole's wedding.  It was outside in the country at an old farm.  It was very warm but the gardens were gorgeous.  The twins had to "smell the flowers"
Brecken and Elise were hanging out in the hammock
Taylor sporting her fancy shades - I love this shot!! She is so cute.
Asher and Grayson were in HEAVEN!  Nothing like a pretty girl in a pretty dress!!!  We are in so much trouble!!
Asher had many dances with the bride.
Man were they pooped - Tim and I enjoyed the peacefull ride home!
Last but not least....Eston caught a baby bunny with his live trap.  He fed it some carrots and lettuce and then we let him go.  He was a cute little guy!

May 2012

May 2012 was a very busy yet fun month.  We had some big projects, some awesome weather and Eston's 8th Birthday.  I can't believe how fast time has gone by.

I took the boys to see the eagles in Rochester.  There is a huge eagle nest just off hwy 63 south of Target South.  There were 2 eagles sitting there when I was on my way home from work, so I picked up the boys...and the camera...and we headed back into town.

We got some really great shots of the eagles.  The one just sat there and we literally walked directly under it and it just watched us.  It was very cool...and perfect time as Eston was doing his 2nd grade zoo project on the bald eagle.

I took the boys down to Cherri and Gerry's to help plant the fields.  It was a gorgeous day so they spent most of the time in the tractors, but they did take a little time to play with the little tractors in the shed.  I just love this picture of Grayson playing in the shed.

After we were done in the field, the boys helped Cherri give Katie a bath ----she had found a skunk a few days earlier.  The boys thought it was a lot of fun.
These are Grayson's pants after playing in the shed.  Dirty from his hard day of work farming.

Mother's day we spent out at mom and dad's.  it was beautiful but hot!  Elise and Taylor had some fun in the sandbox.

Adam and Taylor sharing a laugh!  Definately a daddy's girl
Brecken enjoying a delicious cupcake!  I love the intensity on his face.

Dad mowed the lawn so Grayson helped Grandpa clean up the extra grass.
Eston had a beautiful day for his birthday.  I stopped by with cupcakes and to have lunch with him.  I was lucky enough to watch him and his friends play football at recess.
Opening his presents from Grandma and Laur

Lauri got him a SWEET Jordan jersey!! LOVE IT!!!
We used the leftvover cupcakes from school to sing happy birthday at home.  There were just enough for him, his brothers and cousins.

This is the diarama Eston made for his Eagle project.  he has a lot of great ideas - it was a lot of work but it turned out awesome.\

This is his diarama and poster board.

Posing with his diarama - he was very proud of it and we are very proud of him.

For Eston's birthday party he wanted to go to the National Eagle Center in wabasha.  We took along 3 friends (Alexander, Chase and Brody).  The boys had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
The boys with the eagle trainer and Harriett the bald eagle.

This is Harriett - if you ever see the "Tribute to the Troops" license plates, it is harriett's picture on it.
Grayson having some fun on the slip n slide at G&G
Eston had a lot of fun too...

They thought it would be a good idea to all go down at once.
 Eston and Grayson

Elise even got in on the action.  I love this face!!
She really had a great time

Eston and Asher helped her go down the waterslide without mommy.  She did great and by the end of the afternoon she was going down it on her belly all by herself.
Asher and Grayson wanted to go down together holding hands - how sweet.
Cambell-man....I LOVE THIS FACE TOO!  What a sweetheart!!
Cambell and Grandma enjoying a marshmallow.
Memorial weekend G&G got 2 new horses.  This Sally and she is a great horse.  The boys have started taking riding lessons and are thinking of showing her in some shows.
Grayson on his first riding lesson.
