Friday

We got to babysit Brecken tonight. He played so well and was so good. Tomorrow we are hoping to take the boys and Brecken to Pip Squeaks for some playtime. I will add some pictures tomorrow after we get back. The kids didn't cooperate much tonight so I was not able to get any pictures.

One day at a time!

We are in day three of Eston's new potty game. Slowly but surely he is making progress. Each day he is doing a little better. He didn't have any major accidents yesterday and only 1 today. We can't wait until our first accident free day! So far he is still very excited about the game and he gets prizes everytime he makes it to a colored square. When he makes it to the end we get to go to the zoo!!!!

On a side note, this is a picture of the twins diaper bag from today. As you can see the pull-ups for nap time and all the extra underwear are still in there. YIPEE not one single accident from either of them today!

Monday Fun

Today Eston had his second appt with the Dr. to discuss his bathroom problems. The Dr. suggested we create a board game and everytime he goes on the potty he gets to move further down the board with prizes along the way....and a grand prize of a trip to the zoo! He was very excited to make the game and we both had a lot of fun doing it. As you can see by the picture he is very proud of it! I wanted to call it Eston's potty time, but suggested Bear's Potty Time 2 after his new favorite movie from the library "Bear's Potty Time."

While we were at the Dr., Adam and Jacie babysat Asher and Grayson. When we got home we thought we would take a few pics. This picture was taken by Eston - FUN!

Adam, Grayson, Eston, Jacie and Asher. Eston had to spike his hair to show uncle Adam. Thanks for babysitting guys, we appreciate it and the kids love it!

Sunday Fun...

Sunday started off with us all waking up and rushing to get ready for church - normal! We did make it in time, however we were not quick enough to sit with Grandma and Grandpa :(

After church Grayson found his jean pockets and walked around all morning with his hands in his pockets. It was so cute.

Round 2:00 Jason and Megan stopped by for a visit, which was nice because we handn't seen them for a while. The kids had a blast! Grayson kept calling Jason, Adam, even after we corrected him. Then when we would ask him "who is this" he would say Adam and laugh. The little stinker is already teasing people for the fun of it. It was pretty funny though, even Jason laughed. Thanks for coming to visit, it is always nice to hang out with you guys.
When Jason and Megan left, I decided to take the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Grandma was shopping but Grandpa was there with GREAT Uncle Gary. The kids played very well.....at first. As you can see, their favorite place to play is in the wood whole of the fireplace. Grandma and Grandpa do not put wood in there because the kids all like to play in there. ( I just wish it had a gate!) Here are some pics of the 3 of them playing in it.

Then Grandpa broke out the "walking doll." This was Grandma's doll when she was little. We have always thought she is kind of creapy but the twins love her as you will see. Asher was the only one to play with her this time, but the pictures will show that I will need to keep a close eye on them when they start dating!

Grayson found a new hiding place under the end table. Looks pretty confortable doesn't it.

Cherri and Becky

On Saturday we had a visit from GREAT Aunt Cherri and Becky. The kids were so excited to see them and so was I. It is always nice when people stop by to visit and we hadn't seen them since Christmas, so it was great. Cherri and Becky brought valentine treats which the kids absolutely loved and Becky put her hair in a pony tail which the twins loved! You have to understand that the twins have some kind of facination with hair, especially if it is in a pony tail. Weird, I know.
Thanks for coming to visit, it was great to see you!! Stop in anytime.

SECFE & & tomorrow

Tonight we had early childhood classes with Eston. Tonight Eston wanted his brothers to come along but we compromised and brought Grayson. Asher was able to stay home and spend some quality time with dad. Eston was such a great big brother. He lead Grayson right in and showed him all the fun stuff they could do there. Grayson's favorite was the sensory table, tonight they had snow in it. I think he spent the majority of the night at that table. Then we had singing and story time and Graysons at right up there with all the kids, not shy at all! One of my favorite moments was during story time. Eston went up and sat by Grayson and put his arm around him while they listened to the story SO SWEET! I love moments like those. Eston was a very proud big brother - they did Great. It is amazing how much more confident Eston is when he takes his brothers somewhere like that. Most nights he is so shy and clingy, but not tonight. I am very proud of him. He really is an awesome big brother!

We are also very sad because tomorrow is Beth's last day until May. She has to go back to school this weekend, which means she won't be able to watch the boys for us until she is done in May. I have to say she is the most wonderful person ...we could not ask for anyone better to take care of our kids. She is so great with them and is always coming up with fun things for them to do. We are so greatful to have her as our babysitter and friend. She is the only person we can leave them with, without them crying as I walk out the door. They really do love her! We are all really going to miss you so much, and CANNOT wait for you to come back in May! Take care at school and know that you can stop over anytime you are home....and if you need some extra cash ...Tim and I can always use a night out! Thanks for everything!

Time with Family

On Wednesday night Auntie Lauri and Brecken stopped by for a play date. We had so much fun!

Here is Brecken sporting his new haircut. He looks like such a little man. Isn't he the cutest!

Eston and Auntie Lauri reading a book about Trout. Exciting!! You are a great Aunt Lauri!!!! We are so glad you moved back.

Monday....Monday

Being a mom is great! We had lots of fun and we even got to go outside and play with Domonique and Andre for a bit. We could not ask for better friends and neighbors and the kids just love each other.

We started the day with a little breakfast and coloring. While Asher finished his breakfast, Eston and Grayson did some coloring. For some reason, Grayson had a hard time finding the paper.

Thank goodness for washable markers!

Mommy's little angel!

Here is a pretty good shot of me and Grayson. Unfortunately, Asher wouldn't sit still long enough to be in the picture and Eston was too busy playing with his fort.

I thought this one was kind of funny. Kind of reminded me of star wars. Grayson had to try on Eston's new coat and it was a little too big. Eston actually took this shot - pretty good!

We also played swords! The boys had the swords and I was a bear that they were trying to capture. As you can see from the pics below, Asher came up with a unique way to hold carry his sword. Eston had his hooked to his pants, but since the twins will not wear clothes in the house, Asher had to come up with an alternate way. Trust me, I took a lot more pics but wasn't sure if they were appropriate to post or not.

Me and the boys on Saturday

So the weekend started out with a CRUNCH! Tim was icefishing with friends so Lauri stopped by on her way home from work, to watch the boys, so I could shower. As I was saying goodbye to her, this is what Asher was up to. As you can see, he dumped an entire, brand new, box of fruity pebbles on the couch and floor. It takes a lot of vaccumming to get all those little pebbles cleaned up. Eston was a big help...he kept his brothers busy so I could get this cleaned up.

After we got everything cleaned up, we headed to Pip Squeaks with the Thomley family. This is an indor playground for kids, at the United Way building in Rochester. The kids had a blast! We will definately be going back!

Here are the boys on the Indoor, kid powered Carousel. They had to pedal to make it go - Genius!

Asher and Domonique hanging out at Pip Squeaks.

Grayson, Andre and Eston.....ready.....set......GO!

Eston and Andre are along for the ride. Asher was driving the fire truck and they were the puppies helping to find the fire. They had so much fun. Thank you Barb for capturing this great shot of the boys - you definately have the nack!

So, my camera batteries died while we were playing so Barb took these great pics of the kids when we went to McDonalds to eat afterwards. Let's just say my kids were great to start out with, then it all started going downhill. Asher had a complete meltdown and we had to leave early. Thank goodness, for my sanity, they took a long nap!
Asher and Grayson patiently waiting for their happy meals.

Eston & Andre at McDonalds. OOOOH Scary!

On Friday Night, Beth so offered to babysit so Tim and I could get out for the night. We went to supper with Barb and Troy and then went back to their house for my Blogging 101 class with Barb and some Wii. Here are some fun photos Barb and Troy took during our "adults" only evening. We had an absolute blast! We have decided we need to do this more often.

Here are me and Barb, as you can see, she is a very strict teacher. I think I passed, I don't remember :) Thanks for the yummy beverages Troy!

Barb and I during recess. You are a great friend!

Tim and Troy, drinking and driving :) Where did we go wrong?

So far I have added a new background and am waiting for my title design. This is pretty fun, I am definately going to have to devote some more time to customizing and personalizing. I can't wait to get some pics of the kids uploaded. keep watching

Burrrrrrr it is cold!

So it is like -28 degrees today. I cannot believe how cold it is. And I wonder why we have to work if none of the kids have to go to school??? We are still working on Eston's potty training. The babysitter said he is actually doing pretty good today - keep your fingers crossed that this continues. The twins are doing great with the potty...I sure hope this continues. They are three amazing boys, they definately keep us on our toes, but I love every minute of it!
