Sunday afternoon.....

After we got back from the airport, Asher and Grayson thought that they needed to "work" out in the garage. There were some scraps of sheet rock on the floor and they used their little hammers to destroy it!

At 2:00 Brecken and Elise came over to spend the afternoon with us. Elsie was in such a great mood when she got to our house that I decided to do a quick photo shoot with some of the new hats I have been working on.

Look at that smile - she was such a happy girl!

Look at those big blue eyes!

I wish I had these eye lashes!!!

What a doll!

Towards the end her fingers were tasting pretty darn good. I couldn't get a shot without her fingers in her mouth. She was happy though!
After the photo shoot the boys went to the back yard for a water fight, then played in the sandbox, then water fight, then sand so......................we had to take a bath!a

Here they are coloring with water markers on the wall. They had so much fun together! It was an awesome day!

B-17 Bomber

On Sunday morning, after church, I took the twins and Brecken to see the WWII B-17 Bomber at the Rochester Airport. The boys were so excited to see the big plane, but were a little disappointed when I said they couldn't have a ride ($425/person for 20-30 minutes).

Here they are in front of the trailer - watching another plane get ready to take off.

This is the gunner on the bottom of the plane - not somewhere I would have wanted to be!

The nose of the plane housed more gunner positions, another place I wouldn't want to be!

Grayson checking out one of the 4 giant propellers

Asher, Brecken and Grayson waiting patiently to go check out the bomber. The boys were awesome, they listened so great and were very well behaved, I was very proud of them!

This is right after the plane landed and was taxiing in for us to view.

The side view.

Birthday Part 2

On Saturday morning we had the Paulson family over to celebrate the twins birthday. The kids had a great time playing together and it was nice to have time to visit.
Asher and Grayson getting ready to open all their present. They both got everything they wanted. Thank you everyone.

Mike got them both new water guns - so when lunch was done all the kids went out to have a water fight.

Happy 4th Birthday Asher and Grayson

It is hard to believe that Asher and Grayson are already 4 years old. It seems like yesterday that they were this small.......

It is amazing how time flies!
We had a fun day together, first we checked out a new daycare for Grayson, then we played with Brecken and Elise for a bit, then we picked up daddy and went to Mr. Pizza for lunch. After we took daddy back to work, we went to the Plummer House to take their 4yr pics. After that I promised them we would find somewhere dry to play so we went to the playground at the mall. They are a little too big for that playground so we decided to go to McDonalds and get icecream cones and then the played at playland for a while. They love that place!

Hanging out at the Plummer House - if you have not been there, you should go-IT IS GORGEOUS!

Grayson's 4 yr picture

Asher's 4 yr picture. I need to do some editing or ask my fabulous neighbor to help with cleaning up Asher's shirt. It was very wet and they could not stop touching stuff.

Brothers!

After supper we had cake and icecream. They both wanted tractor cakes, but different colors. I thought for sure Asher would have red, but he decided on blue??? I had to bake some cupcakes at the last minute to fix Grayson's front tire because Timber got up on the counter and ate it!(don't worry, we didn't eat that part!

Grayson with his cake face
Here is the video of them blowing out their candles - I am not sure if it works or not. If it doesn't I will try and reload tonight.

Muscle Men

The other night Tim was teaching the boys how to flex. Eston has it down pretty well, but the twins still need a little work.

Eston showing off his guns! Pretty impressive for a 6 yr old.

I don't think they necessarily look tough, but a little scary maybe. Love it!

Little Sweetie!

Lauri and the kiddos stopped over the other night to play. Elise was dressed so darn cute I just had to take a few pictures.

Here she is with her mommy. She could not take her eyes off the trees.

So Cute!

I love her expression in this one. So sweet!

Winona County Fair

Last weekend while Tim and Eston were at the Kicking Bear camp, Grandma and I took Asher and Grayson to the Winona County Fair. We were going to try and do the tractor pull again, but it was a little too intense for us. So we decided to take in some of the sites and then went back to Grandma's to play.

Here is the Jacob Sheep- weirdest thing, it can have anywhere from 2-6 horns.

Here are Asher and Grayson with Grandma in front of the Farmall M tractor like she drove when she was a kid. She also drove the H but it wasn't in as good of shape as the M.

And we had to get a picture in front of the John Deere, for Great Grandma Ferrie.

Siren Trip #1

We headed up to Siren, WI to visit Holly and Jake over the 4th. The weather was perfect!! We had an absolutely awesome time! Here are some of my favorite pics from our long weekend. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I do!

This is a picture of the sky the first night we were there - the really weird thing is that there was NO moon that night and the stars were not out yet. Not sure what that is in the sky???

My boys taking a paddle boat ride together. They all had so much fun with that paddle boat!

Grayson giving Asher a ride on the broken boogy board. They didn't care that it was broke!

Daddy, Asher and Grayson on the jet ski. Asher and Grayson wanted to ride the jet skis non stop. Grayson likes to run the throttle but we had to stop that as he just about threw me off the back in the middle of the lake.

Miss Hannah Marie - hard to believe she is already 9 yrs old.

Holly and Grace sporting their fancy shades. Holly and I have almost matching sun glasses so Grace wanted to wear mine so she could be like mommy.

Eston during our ride on the boat. I could take pictures of his cute little face all day long!

Grayson sporting mommy's sunglasses. I love this shot!

This one was a fluke - I didn't notice until I was editing the pictures that Asher is spitting out a bunch of water - FUNNY

Since the boogy board was broke, I bought Asher and Grayson some floaty rings. They loved them!

SO FUN!

Here is a Monarch Butterfly that landed on the flowers next to the water. It was so pretty and hung out with us for most of the weekend.

Asher and Grayson were able to sneek in a tractor ride while we were there. Jake used the tractor to get some firewood. When they saw that tractor come around the corner I think it took them about a 1/2 second to get out of the water and ask Jake for a ride.

Grace and Hannah having fun with the tube.

Saturday night there was a beautiful sunset. I think I took about 30 pictures. Here is one of my favorites.

I love this shot of Eston on the doc. I did not do any editing on this photo, this is all natural! I think it turned out so cool with the sunset.

Here is another favorite - I love the dark colors.

Holly and Grace enjoying the sunset.

We get to go back up in August for a long weekend and Beth is coming with to help with the boys! We cannot wait! Thanks again Mangelsen's for an awesome weekend!
