Our First School Conference

Last night was our first conference with Eston's teacher, Mrs. Fryer. When we arrived we had some time to look through his journal - it is amazing to see how much he has learned. There is even a drawing in his journal of his Great Aunt Cherri's house, with her cats and dog.....and it is really good! We were able to write a little note in his journal to let him know how proud we are of him, that was kind of fun. I have to say, I tried to write in proper kindergarten handwritting (so he could read it easier) and it was really hard, but I did it.
The conference went very well. Mrs. Fryer had a lot of good things to say about Eston and she even mentioned that the Art Teacher has commented to her about how great of an artist Eston is and what a great imagination he has. He really loves arts and crafts so this was great to hear. Mrs. Fryer also said that he really picks up on things quickly and has a great memory. The only thing we need to work on with him are FOCUS, calming himself down when excited and reducinc the amount of talking -- this could be hard since he does have Ferrie Blood running through his veins and we all know how Ferrie's love to talk!
Overall a great first conference! We love you Buddy and are SO proud of you!
