Opening Day 2010

Saturday was opening day for Buck Season. To our suprise dad shot an 8point buck by 1pm. It was a very nice day and the conditions were perfect. Eston was so excited he could barely sit still. He was a little disappointed because he was hoping to sit in the tree stand with Tim on Sunday - oh well, at least he got a deer - A NICE DEER!

Here are the boys with the buck - they thought it was AWESOME!

Close up from the front.
The side view. Nice one isn't it. WAY TO GO DAD WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

Asher's Tooth

On November 2 Asher had his first tooth pulled. He had chipped it approx. 2 years ago and when we went in for his 6mo visit, we found out that the root was infected and was starting to abscess. We are hoping that his other front tooth is okay but it is already changing color.
He was an absolute champ - never even cried. I wish they had all this wonderful technology and drugs when I was little!

Halloween 2010

What a beautiful day we had this Halloween. We started out the day with a SSSPPPPOOOOOOKKKKYYYYYY lunch. Well not really, but I tried to make it fun for the boys.

Mac and Cheese and Hotdogs altered to look like a pumpkin.

Buzz, Bumblebee and Woody. Eston later changed into a horse so he could be Bullseye.

Our first stop this year was at Grandma Paulson's. They boys had a lot of fun playing out in the yard after getting their treats!

Next Stop - Uncle Jason and Megans. We spent a little time there because we all wanted to hold Cambell!

Asher could have sat there all night. He just loves babies so much and is so good with them.

Here are the pumpkins for this year. (Eston carved his own, guess which one it is???)

Here they are. I know I am biased, but aren't they cute! I just love em so much!
Happy Halloween!

Final Harvest of 2010

Well, I have had this sitting in my edit box for 2 weeks now so I thought I better put in my comments and get it posted. 2 weeks ago I took the twins down to the farm for their final day of harvesting for 2010. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we had a lot of fun.

First we headed to Boyl's farm to load some corn into the combine.

Grayson and Cherri. He was he little cuddle bug that day.

Here he is playing with her hair.

Then we got to go into one of the fields and pick some corn for the squirrels. (Grayson)

Look at that determination. He got it all by himself. (Asher)

Man they picked a lot of corn. They could barely hold the bags by themselves.

Cherri helping Grayson carry his corn back to the Ranger.

Asher's bag broke so he had to carry some of it himself.

Wrestling with mommy. They had a lot of fun jumping on my back and putting grass in my hair. Thank you Cherri for taking some pics of me with the boys.

Dano combining corn on the Ferrie Farm.

Grayson taking a break to drink some gatorade.

If you look closely, the boys are standing to te left of the tractor, watching the tractor unload into the semi.
Thank you Cherri and Gerry for letting us come down every weekend and "help" with the harvest! We cannot wait until next year!!!

Homecoming 2010

Okay so Friday was Homecoming for Stewartville, so we had to go down to the parade. The boys had so much fun. I took my eyeliner pencil with and painted tiger faces for the kids. Here are a few pics from our fun evening.

Asher and Elise waiting for the parade. He loves his little cousins so much!

Brody, Jayce, Nathan, Lucas and Eston playing a little football at the Klug's. They are showing off their scary tiger faces.

Asher and Brecken anxiously awaiting the parade. They took their halloween pumpkins to put their candy in.

Proud Uncle Tim.

Asher was in Heaven! He absolutely loves his new cousin.

Grayson was a little more shy, but still extremely excited!

Harvest - Part 3

We headed back down to Caffrey Farms this weekend to enjoy a BEAUTIFUL 89 Degree October day in the fields. We all had a blast, like always!!

Here is Danny, Tim and Asher in the first corn picking ride of the year. Tim was able to pick beans last weekend and now he got to try out the corn. I think it is so cool to watch!
