This past weekend Tim and I went to Siren to visit Holly and Jake and to get away for our anniversary. Mom and Dad watched the kids for the weekend - THANKS! We arrived Friday night and visited until about 1am. Saturday didn't start for me until 1pm - YEP that is right, I slept until 1pm!!!!! I heard Tim wake up earlier but was so comfortable I thought I would lay there for a bit and enjoy the peace and quiet.........and fell back asleep! Tim actually had to wake me up at 1:00. They gave me a lot of crap but I didn't care because it felt AWESOME!!!!
We are now back into our regular routine. Hopefully the sleep I got over the weekend will get me through til the next weekend we get without the kids - probably next year on our anniversary.
I have to say, I did miss there cute little faces. We missed them a lot but it was definately nice to get away and rejuvenate.

Wow! I can't remember the last time I would have slept that late (without being sick that is). As long as you can, you might just as well take advantage.
