Suprising Commute to Work.......

I left for work around 5:45 this morning and as I started to drive down our street something darted out into the street...........A DEER! What, a deer, I know, that is the same thing I thought. I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting it. It ran across the street and between the houses. I felt so sorry for it because I am sure it was scared and just wanted to find some woods! I sat there for a few minutes wondering to myself if I really did just see that. Never thought I would have to stop for a deer on our street.

    There was a deer in Cresco a few nights ago running around the Cop shop. Poor deer!

    Andre was so serous when he told me about it tonight! I was on the phone so I wasn't sure if I heard him correctly, but he told me again and said, "I'm serious Mom!" STRANGE!
