Once Tim got home, we proceeded to complete quite a few projects. For starters, I lost my car keys on Friday and I asked Asher and Grayson to show me where they were.......they put them in the hole in Eston's wall. YEP in the Wall. Tim cut open the wall and found that there were several other things in there, including about 30 farm animals, tractors, wagons and much more. Tim got the wall all patched up and moved on to installing the new microwave. While he did that, I had to feed the kids supper. Since we couldn't be in the kitchen, I decided to let them eat in the living room and watch Pooh while they ate. They did pretty good and actually didn't make much of a mess.
After church on Sunday, we went out to Grandma and Grandpa Ferrie's house. We hadn't been out there for a couple of weeks and the kids wanted to see the horses and kitties. It was a beautiful day and Eston had to go on 2 hikes in the woods.
Here is Eston getting ready to go with his walking stick.
Tim, Koda, Grandpa and Eston. They were going to take Koda on their hike in the woods but he didn't want to be on the trail. They brought him back up to the house and went without him.

This was actually before the hike. Tim and Grayson crashed after our yummy lunch.
Adam and Asher hanging out on Grandma's counter.
After their naps, we decided to get them outside and wear them out a bit. Here is asher using his gardening tools in grandma's flower pot.
Grayson pushing the wheel barrel around the yard. For some reason they both love pushing this thing around. Unfortunately they are not strong enough to lift it so it scrapes along the ground.
Forshadowing.......Here are Grayson and asher playing on Grandpa's trailer. These boys love to climb......

And here we are at the ER with Asher after he fell off the trailer and hit his head on the corner of the slow plow blade. He kept telling us he had a hole in his head. He was a trooper though, by the time Tim got him into the house he was done crying and never cried again. Let me tell you, I would still be crying.
Ouch! I'm glad he's ok.
ReplyDeleteI can see why they love going to grandma and grandpa's house - what a beautiful setting!
