a weekend away

This past weekend we headed to Siren, WI to visit Jake, Holly, Hannah and Grace. We left Stewartville on Thursday night, during the winter storm. Now normally it takes 3 hours to get to Siren, but this time it took us 5 hours. The roads were not that great and we only passed 3 snowplows during the entire 5 hours. This was crazy considering all the snow on the roads.
We did make is safely and had a wonderful weekend. On Friday Holly and I went to her store and I went on a "shopping spree." I will have to take some pics of my purchases and add them to the blog. The kids had a great time playing together. Poor Grace was tormented by the twins. They were obsessed with her hair and chased her around all weekend. But, as you will see from the pictures below, they did have some fun together....unfortunately Tim didn't agree!
