Fire Trucks - WOW!

On Wednesday night we went down to the Fire Station for their open house. The kids were very excited and had a great time. They even had the ladder truck fully extended, which was very cool. Here are a few pics from our fun night out - oh and the weather was absolutely beautiful!

Here are the boys with Terry (Beth's Dad) who is one of the fire fighters. I think the boys and Terry were equally excited to see each other.

Grayson Daddy and Asher.

Grayson testing out the water hose. They had to spray it through a little window. It was a little hard for him since he only has one functioning hand right now.

Asher was very focused on getting the job done - possibly a future firefighter???

Grayson and Asher spotted the "Ranger" right away. They just had to get in and check it out. We even taught the firefighters a good lesson - NEVER LEAVE THE KEYS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN THERE ARE KIDS AROUND! They didn't start it but found the keys in about 2 seconds. Don't worry, mommy gave the keys to one of the firefighters for safe keeping.

We ran into a lot of friends while at the fire station. One of them asked if we have ever had a firetruck at our house, we said...not yet, but we do know the quickest way to the ER! :)
